For example they couldn’t watch the Olympic Games and they couldn’t compete in any of the competitions apart from chariot racing. The women that lived in Greece also had help running the house, they employed slaves. The slaves were often young women. The slaves had no freedom and they had to serve their masters. They were required to do most of the manual labour and they had to help the women run the household. Slaves also formed a large percentage of the ship crews.
