Zeus:
Zeus is the superior king of the greek gods and is thought to be the ruler of mankind. Zeus is married to Hera queen of the gods. He has two brothers (posioden and hades) and three sister (Demeter, Hera and Hestia). Zeus is also the lord of justice so it is his responsibility is to punish anyone how broke an promise or oath. Zeus was known to be unpredictable but he was a fair god. Zeus was also responsible for the weather if he was in a good mood then it would be a nice and sunny day but if he was in a bad mood then he would cause storms and rain.

Poseiden is the god of the sea, horses and earthquakes. Poseiden has five siblings two brothers (Zeus and Hades) and three sisters (Hera, Demeter and Hestia). Posedian ismarried to the sea-goddess Amphitrite but Poseiden was by legend married more than one. Poseiden had many children but the more famous one were the merman Triton and the Nymphs Rhode and Benthesicyme. Poseidan is known to be greedy, bad tempered and moody. Poseiden liked to ride his chariot over the sea and oceans. Poseidan possed a trident that was so powerful that it could cause earthquakes, shatter rocks, cause floods and it had the ability to bring back peacefulness. This god was known as the creator of horses. The sea gods sacred animals are the dolphin and the horse and his symbol is the trident.

Hades is the god of the underworld and ultimately the god of the dead. He is the brother of Posedien, Zeus, Demeter, Hera, Hestia. He stole Hestia's daughter Persephone and took her down into the underworld. Hades even though he is counted as an Olympian god he prefers to stay in the dark and gloomy underworld. His symbol is his helmet which helped him stay invisible. His sacred animal is his three headed dog Cerberus.

Apollo invented the lure and instrument shaped in a pear shape and is a stringed instrument. The gift of prophecy was given to Apollo by his father Zeus when he was an infant. His symbol is the lyre, the laurel tree, the navel stone and the tripod and his sacred animals were the raven, wolf and the lizard.

Ares:Ares is the god of war and violence. He is the son of Zeus and Hera (the king and queen of the gods). He has three siblings Hephaestus, Hebe and Eilithyia. He also has many half siblings like Athena and Artemis. Ares was not unlike his mother he was a difficult character to deal with and because of this he was not as popular as the other Olympian gods among mankind. He was strongly hated by all of the gods apart from Aphrodite (the goddess of love). Ares sacred animal was the dog and the boar and his symbol was the spear and the sheild.

Dionysus was the god of wine and parties. He is the son of Zeus and a mortal princess Semele and is the only Olympian that has a mortal mother. Dionysus is the youngest god. Dionysus was very popular among the other Olympians and the mortals because he was kind and always offered his help. His symbols were the thyrsus, wine barrels and the flute and his sacred animals were the tiger and the panther.

Hermes:Hermes is the god of thieve, commerce and games. He was the messenger of the gods and he conducted the souls to the underworld. Hermes is the son of Zeus and a nymph named Maia. He is the father of the famous satyr Pan. Hermes was the only Olympian god that was permitted to visit earth, the underworld and heaven, this is because of his roles. Hermes was also known for his great willingness to help his father Zeus. Hi sacred animal was the ram and his symbols were the caduceus, the leather pouch and his hat the petasus.
