Education:
Males where taught at home until around the age of six then they went to school and learned how to read and write. They were also required to learn a musical instrument. They also studied maths and science. They didn't graduate until around the age of 20. Females did not get to attend a school but they were taught at home by their mothers to sew, cook and run a household. If mothers knew how to read and write then they would teach their daughters to do the same.
